Seedpods
I have always loved the traditional quilting pattern called "Double Wedding Ring". I also love the shape of a seedpod, and wanted to explore that shape in my work. One day I realized that the melon portion of the Double Wedding Ring pattern is that seedpod shape. This realization sparked a flurry of creative activity that soon branched out into even more seedpod manifestations.
